Jody Thomas, William Matthews, Gordon Venner and Cmdre Geneviève Bernatchez made statements and answered questions.

At 5:16 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

Committee Business
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

On motion of James Bezan, it was agreed, — That, pursuant to the Order of Reference of Thursday, October 26, 2017, the Committee consider the Supplementary Estimates (B), 2017-18 before the reporting deadline set out in Standing Order 81(5); and that the Minister of National Defence be invited to appear, and that the meeting be televised.

At 5:23 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
