Brigitte Sansoucy moved, — That the Committee undertake an emergency study of no less than three meetings on:
- the measures that the government intends to take in order to prevent any future delays in the implementation of infrastructure projects;
- the details on the progress of infrastructure projects to date; and
- a full update on the government’s plan to spend $186.7 billion on infrastructure;
and that the Committee make recommendations and report to the House by June 2018.
It was agreed, — That consideration of the motion be diferred to 5:15 p.m.

At 5:15 p.m., by unanimous consent and pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the Committee continue to sit.
The Committee resumed consideration of the motion of Brigitte Sansoucy, — That the Committee undertake an emergency study of no less than three meetings on:
- the measures that the government intends to take in order to prevent any future delays in the implementation of infrastructure projects;
- the details on the progress of infrastructure projects to date; and
- a full update on the government’s plan to spend $186.7 billion on infrastructure;
and that the Committee make recommendations and report to the House by June 2018.

On motion of Sean Fraser, it was agreed, — That the motion be amended by deleting the words “emergency” and “any future”.
The question was put on the motion, as amended, and it was agreed to.
The motion, as amended, read as follows:
That the Committee undertake a study of no less than three meetings on:
- the measures that the government intends to take in order to prevent delays in the implementation of infrastructure projects;
- the details on the progress of infrastructure projects to date; and
- a full update on the government’s plan to spend $186.7 billion on infrastructure;
and that the Committee make recommendations and report to the House by June 2018.
It was agreed, — That the study pertaining to this motion begin on Monday, April 16, 2018, for a total of five meetings, and that members of the Committee provide their witness lists to the Clerk of the Committee no later than Thursday, March 29, 2018.
It was agreed, — That the Chair of the Committee send a letter to the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development as well as the Department of Fisheries and Oceans to seek more information on the study of ocean war graves.
It was agreed, — That a draft report on ocean war graves be considered following the Committee’s return from its trip to Vancouver and Seattle in May 2018.
