Minutes of Proceedings
It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108 (1)(a), the committee invite, for one hour and a half, Joanne Kimm, spouse of Veteran John Douglas Kimm, who is dying of metastatic cancer, an illness he contracted due to exposure to harmful chemicals while serving in the Canadian navy, for one meeting, to tell her husband’s story and discuss the adequacy of the maximum allowable award for pain and suffering.
At 5:30 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
