Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, May 30, 2022, the committee commenced its study of global food insecurity.

Mariia Bogonos, Mykhailo Amosov and Yulia Klymenko made statements and answered questions.

At 12:09 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:11 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Maud Labat, Paul Hagerman and Maximo Torero Cullen made statements and answered questions.

At 12:40 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.

ORDERED, — That the clerk of the committee make the necessary arrangements for a press conference to be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022; and that the committee be represented by the Chair.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

By unanimous consent, it was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $37,625, for the study of Global Food Insecurity, be adopted.

At 1:06 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
