Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, January 20, 2022, the committee resumed its study of foreign ownership and corporate concentration of fishing licenses and quota.

The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of population sustainability of Pacific salmon stocks, the proposed budget in the amount of $178,252.60, for the committee’s travel to Whitehorse, Carmacks and Dawson City, Yukon, in the winter/spring 2024, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the committee invite the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans and officials to appear before the committee in relation to the study of the Supplementary Estimates (B), 2023-24.

At 12:20 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
