Minutes of Proceedings
It was agreed, —
That, in relation to its study of the international embarrassment which followed the attendance and recognition of a former soldier of a Nazi military unit at the President of Ukraine’s 2023 address to Parliament, the committee:
(a) add the following individuals to the witness list:
(i) Anthony Rota, by himself, for one hour;
(ii) the Honourable Steve MacKinnon, the Minister of State (House of Commons), by himself, for one hour; and
(b) prioritize scheduling the appearances of Anthony Rota, Steve MacKinnon, and International and Interparliamentary Affairs officials.The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.
At 1:04 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
