Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, September 16, 2024, the committee resumed its study of the impact of the reopening of the cod fishery in Newfoundland and Labrador and Quebec.

Glen Best, Sherrylynn Rowe and Todd Russell made statements and answered questions.

At 12:02 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 12:07 p.m., the meeting resumed in camera.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), section 92 of the Fisheries Act and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, February 8, 2024, the committee resumed the statutory review of the Act.

The committee commenced consideration of a draft work plan.

At 12:29 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
