Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motions adopted by the committee on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, and Wednesday, September 25, 2025, the committee resumed its study of breast cancer screening for women aged 40.

Nadine Caron, Alethea Kewayosh and Julie Daniel made statements and, with Amanda Sheppard answered questions.

It was agreed, — That the deadline for the submission of briefs in relation to the study of breast cancer screening for women aged 40 be extended to Friday, November 22, 2024.

It was agreed, — That the committee re-invite today’s expert witnesses on the study of breast cancer screening for women aged 40, to appear for one hour, as soon as possible.

At 12:01 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 12:05 p.m., the meeting resumed.

Guylène Thériault made a statement and, with Donna Reynolds answered questions.

It was agreed, — That the committee meet in camera, in an informal meeting, with a delegation of women parliamentarians from the Ukrainian Parliament on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. (EST); and that the committee defray the hospitality expenses related to this meeting.

It was agreed, — That the deadline for the public to submit written briefs for the study of hate motivated violence targeting the 2SLGBTQI + community be extended to Wednesday, December 11, 2024.

At 1:19 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
