Leah Gazan moved, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(1), the clerk inform the Winnipeg Police Services that the committee sends for a copy of the following records, to be provided by 5:00 p.m. (EDT) on Monday, June 12, 2023:

According to a CBC article on March 23, 2023, in Winnipeg alone, 9,315 people have gone missing. Out of all those cases,

1. how many were Indigenous;
2. how many were Indigenous women, girls, and two-spirit people;
3. how many were safely returned to the family; and
4. how many HR hours were spent investigating missing cases involving Indigenous people. (Evidence Meeting No. 59);

and that should the Winnipeg Police Services fail to meet the deadline, the committee will issue a news release.

After debate, the question was put on the motion and it was agreed to.

ORDERED, — That the clerk inform the Winnipeg Police Services that the committee sends for a copy of the following documents to be provided no later than 5:00 p.m. (EDT) on Monday, June 12, 2023:

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Time to Listen to Survivors: Taking Action Towards Creating a Safe Sport Environment for all Athletes in Canada".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the committee request that the government table a comprehensive response to the report.

It was agreed, — That dissenting or supplementary opinions be in Calibri 12-point font, left aligned, single-spaced, and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the clerk of the committee, not later than 12:00 p.m. (EDT) on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

It was agreed, — That any confidential document provided to the clerk in relation to its study of women and girls in sport, be retained by the clerk until the end of the First Session of the 44th Parliament, and thereafter be destroyed.
