Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, the committee resumed its study of intimate partner and domestic violence in Canada.

Gertie Mai Muise and Gerri Sharpe made statements and, with Sean Longboat, answered questions.

At 4:31 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:36 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Angela Brass, Angie Hutchinson and Melanie Omeniho made statements and answered questions.

Committee Business
The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to its study on intimate partner and domestic violence in Canada, parties submit a new list of witnesses to the committee clerk by 4 p.m. (ET) on Thursday, March 3, 2022.

At 5:33 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
