It was agreed, — That the Clerk send an official letter of invitation on behalf of the committee to Lauren Chen, Liam Donovan, and Lauren Southern to appear as part of the study on Russian Interference and Disinformation Campaigns in Canada.
Anton Shekhovtsov and Ben Scott made an opening statement and answered questions.
At 12:04 p.m., the meeting was suspended.
At 12:12 p.m., the meeting resumed.
Wesley Wark made an opening statement and answered questions.

Patrik Oksanen made a statement and, with Wesley Wark, answered questions.
Larry Brock moved, — That the committee reports to the house the Minister should apologize for defending a dirtbag cop shooter by saying "It is disturbing to me as a member of Parliament to hear other members of Parliament use names and slurs toward constituents. These are Canadians we are talking about. When we are calling each other names and calling constituents names we can do better" and recognize this monster is currently being charged with attempted murder, possession of a firearm, uttering death threats and breaching a probation order, and has previously been charged with possessing a stolen vehicle, stolen license plates, breaking into and entering multiple homes, as well as breaching an earlier probation order.
RULING BY THE CHAIR
The Chair rules the motion out of order.The question: “Shall the decision of the Chair be sustained?” was put and the decision was sustained on the following recorded disvision:YEAS: Pam Damoff, Salma Zahid, Heath MacDonald, Iqwinder Gaheer, Nathaniel Erskine-Smith, Kristina Michaud, Alistair MacGregor — 7;
NAYS: Larry Brock, Dane Lloyd, Glen Motz, Doug Shipley — 4.
Accordingly, the Chair's decision was sustained.
Questioning of the witnesses resumed.
It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $20,250, for the study of Russian Interference and Disinformation Campaigns in Canada, be adopted.
It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $1,500, for the study of the Growing Problem of Car Thefts in Canada, be adopted.
At 1:10 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
