Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on April 21, 2023, the committee resumed its study of the review of the impact of Canada’s procurement process on the Canadian Armed Forces.

The witnesses answered questions.

Motion

Simon-Pierre Savard-Tremblay moved, — That, considering the joint statement of the respective Premiers of Quebec and Ontario dated November 7, 2023, concerning the public procurement of CP‑140 Aurora by the federal government, the committee is of the opinion that the government must proceed by way of a formal call for tenders before awarding any procurement contract to this effect.

That the Chair of the committee immediately report this resolution of the committee to the House.

On motion of Marie-France Lalonde, it was agreed, — That the debate be now adjourned.
