The Minister made a statement and, with Caroline Xavier, Bill Matthews, Nancy Tremblay, Cheri Crosby, and LGen Frances J. Allen, answered questions.
At 4:30 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

James Bezan moved, —
That the committee report to the House, based on testimony:- the state of munitions production and procurement in Canada is abysmal;
- the state of readiness of the Canadian Armed Forces is declining;
- the Canadian Armed Forces possesses insufficient quantities of certain munitions and;
- reverse the $1‑billion budget cut announced by the Liberal government to the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces;
- expand munitions production in Canada;
- increase munition exports to Ukraine; and
- support the development of weapons and munitions manufacturing capabilities in Ukraine by Canadian industry.
Debate arose thereon.
At 5:18 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
