Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Friday, November 15, 2024, the committee resumed on the subject matter of Bill C-73, An Act respecting transparency and accountability in relation to certain commitments Canada has made under the Convention on Biological Diversity.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $8,900, for the study of subject matter of Bill C-73, An Act respecting transparency and accountability in relation to certain commitments Canada has made under the Convention on Biological Diversity, be adopted.

Lisa Gue, Rachel Plotkin, Chris Heald, Anna Johnston, and Joshua Ginsberg made statements and answered questions.

At 5:34 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 5:37 p.m., the meeting resumed.

Kluane Adamek, Jesse Zeman, Stephen Hazell, and Akaash Maharaj made statements and answered questions.

At 6:40 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
