Pursuant to Standing Order 81(5), the committee commenced consideration of the Supplementary Estimates (C), 2021-22: Vote 1c under Atomic Energy of Canada Limited, Vote 1c under Canadian Energy regulator, Votes 1c, 5c and 10c under Department of Natural Resources, referred to the committee on Saturday, February 19, 2022.

It was agreed, — That the speaking notes presented by the Minister of Natural Resources be taken as read and appended to the Evidence of today’s meeting.

The Chair called Vote 1c under Department of Natural Resources.

The Minister made a statement and, with John Hannaford, Shirley Carruthers, Mollie Johnson, Jeff Labonté, and Beth MacNeil, answered questions.

At 4:52 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.

By unanimous consent, the Chair called Vote 1c under Atomic Energy of Canada Limited, Vote 1c under Canadian Energy Regulator, and Votes 1c, 5c and 10c under Department of Natural Resources.
