Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, June 6, 2024, the committee resumed its study of the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion.

David Gooderham, Trevor Tombe, David Detomasi, and Stephen Mason made statements and answered questions.

Motion

Shannon Stubbs moved, — Given that the committee is hearing from prospective buyers of the TMX pipeline in this study, and given that one of the prospective buyers is being heard by the committee today, the committee invite representatives from Western Indigenous Pipeline Group, Natural Law, and Iron Coalition to provide their testimony at their earliest convenience.

Alexandre Boulerice moved, — That the motion be amended by adding after the words “Natural Law” the following: “, Tsleil-Waututh Nation,”.

By unanimous consent, the amendment was withdrawn.

By unanimous consent, it was agreed that the debate on the motion resume the following week.
