Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, the committee commenced its study of a greenhouse gas emissions cap for the oil and gas sector.

Motion

Michelle Rempel Garner moved, — That the committee re-invite the Net-Zero Advisory Board to appear for one hour this week.

Amendment

Larry Maguire moved, — That the motion be amended by adding after the words “this week” the following: “; and that the committee re-invite today’s witnesses after the Net-Zero Advisory Body has appeared, should any members of the committee request this”.

Debate arose thereon.

By unanimous consent, the amendment was withdrawn.

The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to on the following recorded division:
