The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.
It was agreed, — That the committee invite Jerry DeMarco, Commissioner of the Environment and Sustainable Development in the Office of the Auditor General, and relevant officials, to provide a briefing on reports 1 and 5 of his most recent reports, tabled in the House of Commons Thursday, April 20, 2023; and that the committee dedicate one meeting to this discussion.
It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $10,000, for the study of Canadian pulp and paper industry, be adopted.
At 10:12 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
