It was agreed, — That Philip Lawrence be elected First Vice-Chair of the committee.
It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $10,950, for the study of passenger rail service - VIA Rail Canada Inc. incident on August 31, 2024, be adopted.
At 3:58 p.m., the meeting was suspended.
At 4:34 p.m., the meeting resumed.
It was agreed, — That the committee invite the Minister of Transport and the Minister of Housing, Infrastructure and Communities to appear on the Estimates and Fall plans, for two hours each, and their appearance takes place before the end of October 2024.
It was agreed, — That the committee invite the Minister of Transport and the Minister of Housing, Infrastructure and Communities to appear on the budget 2024, as soon as possible.
It was agreed, — That the committee adopt the calendar.
At 4:50 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
