The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the access to information request received by the Department of Finance, and communicated to the committee on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, the committee instruct the clerk to not authorize disclosure of the committee documents contained in the said request.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, the committee resumed its study of the role of McKinsey & Company in the creation and the beginnings of the Canada Infrastructure Bank.

The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

At 3:57 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 4:03 p.m., the meeting resumed.

At 4:15 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 4:18 p.m., the meeting resumed.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "The Role of McKinsey & Company in the Creation and the Beginnings of the Canada Infrastructure Bank".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the committee request that the government table a comprehensive response to the report.

It was agreed, — That dissenting or supplementary opinions be in Calibri 12-point font, left aligned, single-spaced, and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the clerk of the committee, not later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2024.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

At 5:10 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
