Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, February 3, 2022, the committee resumed its study of the state of Canada's supply chain.

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the committee invite the Minister of Transport and the Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs, Infrastructure and Communities to appear on Monday, May 30, 2022, in relation to the study of the Main Estimates 2022-23.

Motion

Melissa Lantsman moved, — That the Standing Committee on Transport, Infrastructure and Communities report to the House that it supports the full participation of Taiwan in the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

Debate arose thereon.

Amendment

Annie Koutrakis moved, — That the motion be amended by replacing the words "report to the House that it supports the full” with the following “publish a news release stating that it supports the meaningful”.

After debate, the question was put on the amendment of Annie Koutrakis and it was negatived on the following recorded division:

YEAS: Vance Badawey, George Chahal, Angelo Iacono, Annie Koutrakis, Churence Rogers — 5;

NAYS: Taylor Bachrach, Xavier Barsalou-Duval, Terry Dowdall, Marilyn Gladu, Melissa Lantsman, Dan Muys — 6.

After debate, the question was put on the motion and it was agreed to on the following recorded division:

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the committee commenced its study of the International Civil Aviation Organization.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.
