At 11:28 a.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.
At 11:49 a.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), the sitting was suspended.
At 12:13 p.m., the sitting resumed.
On motion of Dan Muys, it was agreed, — That pursuant to Standing Order 81(5), the committee undertake a study on the Supplementary Estimates (A) 2023-24; That the Minister of Transport and Transport Canada’s Chief Financial Officer, and the Minister of Infrastructure and Infrastructure Canada’s Chief Financial Officer, each be invited to appear for no fewer than two hours, and that these two meetings take place as soon as possible.
By unanimous consent, it was agreed, — That the committee officially request that the telecommunications companies submit a written response to why, millions of Quebecers were without cell service for a period of five or six days.
At 1:24 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
