Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, January 29, 2024, the committee resumed its study of Canada’s approach to Africa.

Thomas Kwasi Tieku, Thierry Vircoulon and Cameron Hudson made statements and answered questions.

At 5:39 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.

At 5:39 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:48 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Issiaka Mandé made a statement.

At 5:55 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), the sitting was suspended.

At 6:15 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Landry Signé made a statement and, with Issiaka Mandé, answered questions.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of the current situation in Iran, the deadline for the submission of witness lists be extended to Monday, April 29, 2024.

ORDERED, — That, in relation to the study of the current situation in Iran, the analysts be instructed to prepare a work plan for the consideration of the committee.

At 6:45 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
