Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motions adopted by the committee on Monday, January 31, 2022, and Tuesday, May 30, 2023, the committee resumed its study of the situation at the Russia-Ukraine border and implications for peace and security.

Geoffrey Wood, Jacob Irving, Jennifer Clapp and Anna Ackermann made statements and answered questions.

At 12:11 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:18 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Trevor Kennedy and Normand Mousseau made statements.

At 12:29 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:30 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Sylvain Charlebois made a statement and, with Trevor Kennedy and Normand Mousseau, answered questions.

It was agreed, — That the proposed supplementary budget in the amount of $ 8,000, for the study of the situation at the Russia-Ukraine border and implications for peace and security, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the proposed supplementary budget in the amount of $ 5,500, for the briefing on the situation in Israel and Gaza, be adopted.

At 1:03 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
