Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, June 20, 2022, the committee resumed its study of the sexual and reproductive health and rights of women globally.

Beth Woroniuk and Lesia Vasylenko made statements and answered questions.

At 12:01 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:07 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Nkechi Asogwa, Julia Anderson and Mohini Datta-Ray made statements and answered questions.

A point of order was raised regarding speaking time during the questioning of witnesses.

RULING BY THE CHAIR

The Chair ruled that despite interruptions due to interpretation problems, the remaining time allotted for this round of questions for the Conservative Party is 20 seconds.

Questioning of the witnesses resumed.

Motion

Dave Epp moved, — That, as part of its ongoing study on the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the committee study and report to the House on how Canada can support its allies who are affected by resource access challenges stemming from the invasion and steps that the Government of Canada should take to respond to these challenges.

Debate arose thereon.

Motion

Robert Oliphant moved, — That the committee do now adjourn.

The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to on the following recorded division:
