Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, September 19, 2024, the committee resumed its study of Canada's advancement of a two-state solution.

Henry Topas, Shimon Koffler Fogel and Maytal Kowalski made statements and answered questions.

By unanimous consent, it was agreed, — That Mike Morrice ask questions.

Questioning of the witnesses resumed.

At 12:01 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 12:07 p.m., the meeting resumed.

Michael Bueckert, Mohamad Abu Awad, and Corey Balsam made statements and answered questions.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget of the Subcommittee on international Human Rights in the amount of $1,250, for the study of targeting of civil society in Venezuela, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget of the Subcommittee on International Human Rights in the amount of $6,500, for the study of patterns of forced migration in different regions of the world, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget of the Subcommittee on International Human Rights in the amount of $2,750, for the study of implementation of Canada’s universal periodic review, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget of the Subcommittee on International Human Rights in the amount of $5,000, for the study of transnational repression in developing democraties, be adopted.

By unanimous consent, it was agreed, — That Mike Morrice ask questions.

Questioning of the witnesses resumed.

At 1:05 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
