Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, June 20, 2022, the committee resumed its study of Current state of fiscal federalism in Canada.

Seth Klein made a statement and answered questions.

It was agreed, — That the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure of the Standing Committee on Finances meet on Monday, September 26, 2022, to discuss future business and that the committee invite the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance to appear on the study on Inflation in the Current Canadian Economy on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.

At 5:30 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:32 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Steven Stapels, Keith Newman, Angella MacEwen, and Jay Goldberg made statements and answered questions.

At 6:32 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
