Pursuant to the order of reference of Wednesday, June 19, 2024, the committee resumed consideration of Bill S-16, An Act respecting the recognition of the Haida Nation and the Council of the Haida Nation.

Paul Dyck answered questions.

The committee commenced its clause-by-clause study of the Bill.

Pursuant to Standing Order 75(1), consideration of Clause 1 (short title) and of the Preamble was postponed.

The Chair called Clause 2.

By unanimous consent, Clauses 2 to 10 inclusive carried severally.

The Title carried.

The Bill was adopted.
