Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, the committee resumed consideration of the subject matter of Bill C-45, An Act to amend the First Nations Fiscal Management Act, to make consequential amendments to other Acts, and to make a clarification relating to another Act.

It was agreed, — That the members of the committee submit to the clerk all of their proposed amendments to Bill C-45 no later than noon on Friday, May 5, 2023.

It was agreed, — That the committee begin clause-by-clause consideration of Bill C-45 on Monday, May 8, 2023.

The Minister Marc Miller made a statement and, with Christopher Duschenes, answered questions.

At 5:39 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
