Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, the committee resumed its study of protecting certain Canadian manufacturing sectors against related Chinese imports and measures.

Charles Burton, Jean Simard, Catherine Cobden, Brian Kingston, Nate Wallace, and Lana Payne made statements and, with François Desmarais, answered questions.

At 6:34 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
