Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, the committee commenced its study of Canada’s proposed biocides regulation: trade impacts for certain Canadian sectors.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $8,000, for the study of Canada’s proposed biocides regulation: trade impacts for certain Canadian sectors, be adopted.

Celia Lourenco made a statement and, with Lisa Duncan, David K. Lee and Callie Stewart, answered questions.

At 12:00 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:05 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Shannon Coombs and Stéphane Lévesque made statements and answered questions.

At 1:00 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
