Sonia Sidhu gave notice of the following motion:
That the committee affirms its support for reproductive and sexual health rights across Canada; recognizes that the right to safe and legal reproductive and sexual care is the right to healthcare; condemns any effort to limit or remove sexual and reproductive rights from Canadians; and emphasizes the importance of protecting and expanding access to reproductive and sexual healthcare, including abortions and contraceptives.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of the opioid epidemic and toxic drug crisis in Canada, the proposed budget in the amount of $132,550.60 for the committee’s travel to Montreal, Quebec, Vancouver, British Columbia, Calgary, Alberta, Red Deer, Alberta, and Portland, Oregon, United States of America, in spring 2024 be adopted.
It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of the opioid epidemic and toxic drug crisis in Canada, the proposed budget in the amount of $193,809.84 for the committee’s travel to Reykjavik, Iceland, Lisbon, Portugal, and Frankfurt, Germany, in spring 2024 be adopted.
At 1:14 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
