The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 97.1, the committee request an extension of thirty (30) sitting days to consider Bill C-293, An Act respecting pandemic prevention and preparedness, referred to the committee on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, and that the Chair present this request to the House.

It was agreed, — That, with regard to the committee’s ongoing studies, the immediate priorities be consideration of a draft report on children's health, followed by drafting instructions for a report on the oversight of medical devices (breast implants), followed by hearing from witness panels on Bill C-293, An Act respecting pandemic prevention and preparedness; and that the Chair be instructed not to convene a committee meeting on Thursday, June 22, 2023.

It was agreed, — That, with regard to the study of the Patented Medicine Prices Review Board, the clerk be instructed to publish on the committee's website the documents received pursuant to order made Thursday, May 4, 2023.

It was agreed, — That, with regard to the study of the Patented Medicine Prices Review Board, the deadline to receive briefs be set at two weeks following the publishing on the committee's website of the documents received pursuant to order made Thursday, May 4, 2023.

At 12:40 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
