The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the clerk of the committee be authorized to grant access to the committee's digital binder to the offices of the whips of each recognized party.

It was agreed, — That the committee consider a draft report related to the study of Canada’s health workforce before commencing its study of Bill C-224, An Act to establish a national framework for the prevention and treatment of cancers linked to firefighting.

It was agreed, — That, notwithstanding the motion adopted on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, the committee resume its study of the emergency situation facing Canadians in light of the COVID-19 pandemic on an ad-hoc basis.

It was agreed, — That the committee resume its study of the emergency situation facing Canadians in light of the COVID-19 pandemic on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, and that members be requested to submit proposed witnesses to the clerk of the committee no later than Wednesday, October 5, 2022.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the committee’s study of children’s health, witness panels be reduced from six to four organizations or individuals per meeting.

It was agreed, — That the committee resume its study of children’s health on Thursday, September 22, 2022.

It was agreed, — That the committee prioritize its study of Bill C-31, An Act respecting cost of living relief measures related to dental care and rental housing, when the said bill is referred to the committee.

At 11:31 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
