Pursuant to the order of reference of Wednesday, May 29, 2024, the committee resumed consideration of Bill C-368, An Act to amend the Food and Drugs Act (natural health products).

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

It was agreed, — That the deadline for the submission of briefs in relation to the study of Bill C-368, An Act to amend the Food and Drugs Act (natural health products) be Tuesday, November 19, 2024.

It was agreed, — That the members of the committee submit to the clerk all of their proposed amendments to Bill C-368 no later than noon on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.

It was agreed, — That the deadline for members to submit witness lists in relation to the three additional meetings for the study of the opioid epidemic and toxic drug crisis in Canada be Friday, November 15, 2024.

At 5:32 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
