Pursuant to the order of reference of Wednesday, May 29, 2024, the committee resumed consideration of Bill C-368, An Act to amend the Food and Drugs Act (natural health products).

The Minister made a statement and, with Dr. Supriya Sharma and Linsey Hollett, answered questions.

At 12:12 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 12:15 p.m., the meeting resumed.

The witnesses answered questions.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the deadline for the submission of briefs in relation to the study of opioid epidemic and toxic drug crisis in Canada be Friday, November 22, 2024.

At 1:04 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
