Laila Goodridge moved, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 97.1, the committee request an extension of thirty (30) sitting days to consider Bill C-224, An Act to establish a national framework for the prevention and treatment of cancers linked to firefighting, referred to the committee on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, and that the Chair present this request to the House.

After debate, the question was put on the motion and it was agreed to, by a show of hands: YEAS: 6; NAYS: 0.

Laila Goodridge moved, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 97.1, the committee request an extension of thirty (30) sitting days to consider Bill C-252, An Act to amend the Food and Drugs Act (prohibition of food and beverage marketing directed at children), referred to the committee on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, and that the Chair present this request to the House.

After debate, the question was put on the motion and it was agreed to, by a show of hands: YEAS: 6; NAYS: 0.
