The witnesses made statements and answered questions.
At 5:40 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 5:51 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.
It was agreed, — That pursuant to the committee's study of recent investigation and reports on Sustainable Development Technology Canada, the remaining three meetings be scheduled as one hour each with:
a) Stephen Kukucha, member of Sustainable Developement Technology Canada board of directors, Guy Ouimet, George Lafond;
b) Deputy Minister Simon Kennedy, and representatives from Raymond Chabot Grant Thorton, Mitch Davies, Andy Noseworthy;
c) Annette Verschuren;
d) whistleblowers;
That for (d) reasonable accommodation be given to adhere to requests by the witnesses to protect their privacy and identity.
It was agreed, — That the committee requests Sustainable Developement Technology Canada to share declarations of the conflicts of interest from board members since Sunday, January 1, 2017.
It was agreed, — That the committee request that Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton be made available to committee members.
It was agreed, — That subject to the approval of the recognized party’s whips, and the availability of meeting slots from the House of Commons, the committee hold meetings beginning the week of December 4 until the House rises, to study the use of taxpayer subsidized foreign replacement workers at the Stellantis-LG electric vehicule battery assembly plant in Windsor, Ontario.
At 6:38 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
