Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, September 26, 2022, the committee resumed its study of the current state of blockchain technology in Canada.

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

Motion

Rick Perkins moved, — That the chair report the following to the house: That the committee recommends that the Government of Canada freeze CPP and EI increases for small and medium size enterprises to help offset the financial burdens caused by labour shortages and high inflation.

Debate arose thereon.
