Shannon Dea, Emily Laidlaw and Ga Grant made statements and answered questions.

At 12:17 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 12:37 p.m., the meeting resumed.

Michael Geist, Kathleen Mahoney and Annick Forest made statements and answered questions.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $36,700, for the study of the protection of freedom of expression, be adopted.

At 1:53 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
