Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(i) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, the committee resumed its study of the mission, mandate, role, structure and financing of the new capstone research funding organization announced in budget 2024.

Nipun Vats and Michelle Boudreau made statements and answered questions.

At 4:47 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 4:52 p.m., the meeting resumed.

Alejandro Adem, Ted Hewitt, Tammy Clifford and Maria Aubrey made statements and, with Normand Labrie, answered questions.

At 5:58 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
