Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(i) and the motions adopted by the committee on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, and Thursday, February 15, 2024, the committee resumed its study of the distribution of federal government funding among Canada's post-secondary institutions.

Martin Maltais and Gishleine Oukouomi made statements and, with Sophie Montreuil, answered questions.

At 11:47 a.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.

At 12:16 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:31 p.m., the sitting resumed.

At 12:47 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:50 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Tammy Clifford, Alejandro Adem and Ted Hewitt made statements and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $39,150.00, for the study of science and research in Canada’s Arctic in relation to climate change, be adopted.

At 1:48 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
