Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(i) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, October 31, 2024, the committee resumed its study of the impact of the criteria for awarding federal funding on research excellence in Canada.

Geoff Horsman, Christian Casanova and Karine Morin made statements and, with Ghyslain Gagnon, answered questions.

At 5:00 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 5:05 p.m., the meeting resumed.

Wasiimah Joomun and Maydianne Andrade made statements and answered questions.

At 6:01 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
