Matthew Green moved, — That RCMP Commissioner, Brenda Lucki, appear before this committee.
After debate, the question was put on the motion and it was agreed to.
Jean-Denis Garon moved, — That the committee require the RCMP to produce to the committee, no later than June 1, 2022, an unredacted copy of any contract or licensing agreement between the RCMP and Clearview AI for the past 5 years; to produce any ethics analysis produced by the RCMP prior to the use of Clearview AI's technologies; if no such analysis has been produced by the RCMP, that the RCMP provide the committee with written confirmation.
Debate arose thereon.
Iqra Khalid moved, — That the motion be amended by deleting the word "unredacted" and by replacing the words “ethics analysis” with the words “charter analysis”.

The question was put on the amendment and the result of the vote was announced:
YEAS: James Bezan, Jean-Denis Garon, Matthew Green, Damien C. Kurek, Ryan Williams — 5;
NAYS: Parm Bains, Greg Fergus, Lisa Hepfner, Iqra Khalid, Ya'ara Saks — 5.
Whereupon, the Chair voted in the negative.
Accordingly, the amendment was negatived.
Matthew Green moved, — That the motion be amended by adding after the words “provide the Committee with written confirmation” the following: “; and that the documents received be reviewed by the members in camera”.
