Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(h) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, January 13, 2022, the committee resumed its study on collection and use of mobility data by the Government of Canada.

Ann Cavoukian and Teresa Scassa made statements and answered questions.

Matthew Green gave notice of the following motion:

That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(h) the committee send for, from the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) and Health Canada, the Privacy Impact Assessment, and all documents used to inform the Privacy Impact Assessment, developed with regard to PHAC’s use of mobility data tracking for COVID-19, and that these documents be received by the committee no later than March 4, 2022.

At 4:41 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:44 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Martin French and Daniel Weinstock made statements and answered questions.

At 5:39 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
