It was agreed, — That the RCMP Commissioner, Mr. Michael Duheme, and RCMP Staff Sergent, Frédéric Pincince, Sensitive and International Investigations, Federal Policing, Ontario Division, appear on Monday, December 11, 2023, in the context of the study of the decision of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) to not pursue a criminal investigation in relation to the SNC-Lavalin affair as per the motion adopted on October 30, 2023.
Michael Barrett moved, — That the committee invite the whistleblower - the individual who contacted the committee to identify wrongdoings at Sustainable Development Technology Canada - to provide their testimony, and that the committee make every accommodation necessary to facilitate the witness testimony in public before Friday, December 1, 2023.
Debate arose thereon.
At 4:46 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 4:48 p.m., the sitting resumed.
The debate continued.
The Chair ruled the motion admissible.
Whereupon, Mona Fortier appealed the decision of the Chair.
The question: "Shall the decision of the Chair be sustained?" was put and the decision was overturned on the following recorded division:

Michael Barrett moved, — That the committee report to the House that the NDP-Liberal coalition has prevented a whistleblower from testifying on the $1 billion green slush fund scandal.

At 6:20 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Whereupon, Pam Damoff appealed the decision of the Chair.
