Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, February 12, 2024, the committee resumed its study of Federal Housing Investments.

Marie-Josée Houle made a statement and answered questions.

Véronique Laflamme, Jock Finlayson and Daniel Oleksiuk made statements and answered questions.

At 9:17 a.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 9:21 a.m., the meeting resumed.

Motion

Tracy Gray moved, — Given the amount of outstanding work at this committee, the committee instructs the chair to schedule five meetings between July 8 and September 13, in order for the committee to continue its work on Canada’s housing crisis and propose solutions so more Canadians can afford to buy and rent a place to live.

Motion

Peter Fragiskatos moved, — That the debate on the motion of Tracy Gray be now adjourned.

The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to on the following recorded division:
