The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That, in the context of the study of the Housing Accelerator Fund, the deadline for the submission of written briefs of no more than 10 pages in length to the committee be Thursday, June 30, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. (EDT).

It was agreed, — That the Minister of Housing and Diversity and Inclusion and the President and Chief Executive Officer of Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation be invited to appear before the committee in the context of the study of the Housing Accelerator Fund.

ORDERED, — That the clerk of the committee prepare a budget proposal for committee travel within Canada between the months of July and December 2022; that the itinerary includes both Canadian urban and rural areas; and that the number of members participating in the travel does not exceed six.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, February 3, 2022, the committee resumed its study of labour shortages, working conditions and the care economy.

The committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts for a draft report.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, February 3, 2022, the committee commenced its study of the impact of COVID-19 on seniors.

The committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

At 12:07 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:11 p.m., the sitting resumed.

At 12:44 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.

At 12:58 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
