Pursuant to the order of reference of Wednesday, February 14, 2024, the committee commenced consideration of Bill C-273, An Act to amend the Criminal Code (Corinne’s Quest and the protection of children).

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $13,200, for the study of Bill C-273, An Act to amend the Criminal Code (Corinne’s Quest and the protection of children), be adopted.

Peter Julian made a statement and answered questions.

It was agreed, — That the committee begin clause‑by‑clause study of Bill‑273 on Thursday, April 18, 2024.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the clause‑by‑clause study of Bill C‑273, the deadline to submit amendments to the clerk of the committee be at noon on Tuesday April 16, 2024.

At 10:10 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
