Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, January 30, 2023, the committee commenced its study of Canada’s bail system.

Matthew Taylor made a statement and, with Chelsea Moore, answered questions.

At 5:35 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:43 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Thomas Carrique made a statement and answered questions.

At 6:27 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
